Do high amounts of sugar intake increase the risk of developing breast cancer? I heard that glucose/sugar feeds tumors or cancer cells. Is this true?

Answer: A high sugar diet plays no role in breast cancer.  Being overweight, on the other hand, which may result from a high sugar diet, can increase the risk of breast cancer. The more fat a person has the higher their estrogen levels are likely to be and this increased estrogen can raise the risk for breast cancer.
